7 puppies dead

Christmas miracle... Yesterday we operated on Luchka, Samoyed, who should give birth only toward the end of coming week. There were 8 puppies counted at day 30, so big litter was expected. Owner noticed strange discharge from her vulva some days ago and Luchka didn't seem to feel ok. This was red flag to check her, despite holidays. Ultrasound unfortunatelly showed only 1 live puppy, but more dead ones (some dead for few days, some more than a week for sure) and moreover 1 uterine horn was completly filled with puss. I would not want to be in breeders shoes at that moment. What to do? What is the right decision? After discussing all options, owners decided to not risk Luchka life and in the evening we performed emergency cesarean. We were all worried, as we knew it is bit soon for the puppy to survive. He was premature and usually the biggest problem with these puppies is breathing. Little puppy first struggled to breath, but with some intensive care he soon stabilized. We were all amazed. As we thought it is better he would have some oxygen support also at home, we asked for help firemen Center za zaščito in reševanje Domžale, who without hesitation let owners borrow their portable oxygen unit. Little one is doing great and we all keep our fingers crossed for him and his owners. Little one also got his special name today, IQ Lucky Star- Srečko, meaning the lucky one. Hope this will be another story with happy ending!

After long 6 months we are back in the show rings. As the first show after this long pause we attended the 3xCACIB Szilvasvarad show with Joy and Jazz.

***Iceberg Queen Dazzling Diva aka Joy  
was presented in the intermedia class: 3x CAC, r.CACIB. She is new CHAMPION of HUNGARY!!!

At the end of March Jazz became the father of 11 puppies!
The first litter was born in the Oona's Heart kennel, Slovenia, by breeder Viljemka Mlakar. There are 2 males (both reserved) and 3 females (all available).

The second litter is in the Flying White Paws kennel, Germany, by breeder Max Reischl. There are 2 males and 4 females, all puppies are reserved.

was presented in the champion class for the first time in Slovenia and obtainted the following note: 2x excellent 1, 2x CAC, 2x CACIB, 1xBOB, 1xBOS and 2x SLOVENIAN WINNER 2020 title Judge: Torbjőrn Skaar (SE) Jazz fulfilled the conditions to obtain the INTERNATIONAL SHOW CHAMPION title and he opened the Grand Championship of Slovenia!!!
